At the 1-year follow-up of patients with low back pain followed by primary care practitioners, 69% of patients with recent onset (within the past 6 months) of low back pain reported having pain in the last month. Only 21% of these patients were pain free at 1 year, with 55% reporting low disability and low pain intensity, 10% reporting low.

    The aim of this study was to systematically review the evidence for the effectiveness of core stability exercises for treating athletes with low back pain (LBP). We searched several databases.
