This is a beautiful book with a ribbon marker. It is arranged as thirty meditations, as if for the month of June (Sacred Heart month) with two additional meditations, one for the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart and one for the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Father John Croiset, S.J., was a French Jesuit priest and author of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. After serving as St. Margaret Mary's spiritual director fromhe was able to write his The Devotion to the Sacred Heart as intimately familiar with our Lord's particular revelations to the saint.
